The Litfun way

Started with one pair that was wrong

Litfun began in 2020 with a pair of house shoes that were warm and useless. They were plush to the touch and flat as a board underneath, and after an hour on a kitchen floor the heel ached the way it does in bare feet. The people behind Litfun spent that winter pulling footbeds out of walking shoes and gluing them into slippers to see what the floor felt like afterwards.

That winter produced the bench you see here. Litfun builds two kinds of pair and says which is which on every card. Warm and quiet: plush upper, memory foam, a rubber sole for the walk to the bin. Shaped and firm: a raised arch, a deep heel cup, a bed that does not give way by evening. The Litfun cork sandals carry the second idea into summer, and the shower slides carry it onto a floor that is always wet.

  • Warm and quiet. Plush or suede over memory foam, for a bedroom floor.
  • Shaped and firm. A moulded bed for a kitchen tile and an hour on your feet.
  • Summer and wet. Cork footbeds and quick-dry EVA, for a porch and a shower.

What the Litfun team checks first

We wear every pair on three floors: a rug, a kitchen tile and a concrete step outside the door. A pair that slides on tile stays out. A sole that goes hard in the cold stays out. A footbed that flattens in a fortnight stays out, however soft it feels in the first ten minutes.

What we leave to the maker

Words like orthopedic, non-slip and quick-dry are the maker's, and the pages print them as given. What we add is the part you can check yourself: the shape of the bed, the material of the upper, the tread on the sole, and the sizes that exist in that colour today.

Straight answers

Before you order

How do I pick a size?

Take your usual shoe size. Where a pair is sold in pairs of numbers, 8-8.5, 9-10, it covers both, and the page says so. Cork and EVA do not stretch, so between two sizes go up.

What does the arch support actually do?

It spreads the load along the arch instead of leaving it under the heel. You feel it most on hard floors and after an hour standing. It is a shape, not a treatment.

Can I wear house shoes outside?

The pairs with a rubber outsole, yes, to the bin, the porch, the car. Plush uppers soak in wet grass, and suede darkens where it gets wet.

Are the shower slides safe on a wet floor?

They are made for it: drainage channels, a textured bed, quick-dry EVA. The tread grips a wet tile with a clean sole. Soap film under the foot defeats any sandal.

How do I wash them?

The machine-washable pairs say so on their page: cold cycle, mesh bag, air dry. Suede and cork never go in water, a brush and a dry cloth is the whole routine.

Where does the order happen?

Not here. The black button on a card opens that exact size and colour at our retail partner in a new tab, and the checkout, the delivery and any return are theirs.
